Direct B.S. in Laboratory Sciences 

 Thefield of Laboratory Sciences is considered as one of the sub-disciplines in medical sciences which is sub-categorized under paramedical fields of study. In this field of study, laboratoryanalysis of blood, human body tissue and fluids are examined. On this account, it plays an important role in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various diseases in medical sciences. As a result, it can highly affect the promotion of hygiene in society and reduction in treatment costs.

It takes four years to graduate in MLS. The curriculum of this field is planned and programmed in accordance with the educational regulations on direct B.S approved in the supreme board of medical sciences curricular development. In this field

of study 130 credits are presented, including 22 generals, 31 basic, 61 specialized, and 16 training credits.

Clinical laboratories in governmental and private hospitals.

* Direct B.S. in Anesthesia

 Anesthesia in B.S. level which is considered as a sub-discipline in medical sciences is classified under the group of paramedical sciences. The main issues in this field includes, paying medical attention to the patients, undergoing general anesthesia and local anesthesia, prior to, throughout, and after the anesthesia under the surgical operations, control and prevention of hospital-acquired infections under the modalities of anesthesia and local anesthesia, providing patients with appropriate psychological conditions, controlling pain, and being efficiently present in cardio pulmonary cerebral resuscitation (CPCR)

On average, it takes four years to graduate in anesthesia. The curriculum of this field is planned and programmed in accordance with the educational regulations on direct B.S approved in the supreme board of medical sciences curricular development. One-hundred and 30 credits are presented in anesthesia, including 24 generals, 90 basic and specialized, as well as 16 training credits.

The curriculum in this field is devised in accordance with the following strategies:

1. The alumni in anesthesia can actively function in anesthesia team in CPCR and ACPS.

2. They are also expected to provide citizens and patients with health and safety.

3. They must be capable of handling vital measures and preparations for general/local anesthesia methods for CPR with the least possible side effects

 *Direct B.S in Surgical technology

Surgical technology is a branch of medical sciences. In this field of study, students obtain the expertise knowledge about novel principles related to operation rooms, novel surgical technologies in specialized and super specialized surgeries, and patients control before, throughout, and after the surgery.

The ST alumni can function their roles regarding medical attention, communication, and research issues.

• Treating and pacifying relations with patients

• Being in touch with diverse parts related to operation room, including laboratories, blood bank, radiology, medical engineering, marketing, medical equipment and products, and so forth.
